When I really like an album, I tend to listen to it over and over again. My roommate may find it a tad obnoxious to constantly hear the same music playing on repeat throughout our apartment, but if I really love a project I’m going to play it until I know all the words. Lena Stone’s self-titled debut EP has been that project for me recently. It’s all I’ve been listening to since it came out on May 25 and I have yet to grow tired of it.
Lena has been making waves through Nashville’s music scene for a couple of years, as a co-writer on Kalie Shorr’s popular hit “Fight Like A Girl” and as a founding member of the Song Suffragettes. Now, she’s getting the chance to shine on her own with the five tracks on this project.
